 Randy Speed, Founder and President
Randy began his engineering career at LTV Aerospace where he
spent 8 years on the B-2 Stealth Bomber development program. An
honors aerospace engineering graduate from The University of
Texas at Arlington, member of Who's Who, and a former
competition Top Pilot, Randy has over 22 years experience in
finite element modeling and structural analysis. He completed
his graduate syllabus in composites materials while
co-developing carbon-carbon materials applications with
Hercules. After joining Rasna Corporation in 1992, he assisted
in the development of MECHANICA and has used the analysis
software since its inception on everything from spaceships to
dental equipment to Disney rides. After Rasna was acquired by
Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) in 1995, Randy consulted
for PTC on an international basis and resigned from PTC as the
senior MECHANICA consultant in 1998 to form his own company.
