At Speed Consulting we offer clients the opportunity to leverage our skill and experience with our machine design services. Our expertise extends to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical powered products, for applications across a broad spectrum of industries including aerospace, automotive, construction, food processing, marine, manufacturing, mining, and many others.

Designing for moving parts requires an elevated level of expertise compared to static product design, identifying and calibrating all of the considerations involved such as safety, balance, timing, packaging, tolerance and slop, power input sizing, and product longevity. Our mix of practical and theoretical experience allows us to not only understand all of the factors involved in mechanisms, but also their interplay and how they will behave in an application. We employ state of the art CAD and CAE tools including FEA software, integrated to perform optimization analysis and solid modeling.

Our portfolio of previous products is vast and varied, including robotics, miniature systems, machine gun mechanisms, vehicle steering mechanisms, mining equipment, isolator and spring systems, motor and drive system interfaces, and much more. Our products and processes are in conformance with the stringent standards of such industry regulators as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, AWS, DOT,  FAA, and CSA to name a few.
